Guest Lecture is a program held by the International Program of Islamic Economics and Finance (IPIEF) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta  (UMY). In this program, IPIEF invited many outstanding experts and lecturers to give lectures that were very useful and interesting. One of the guest lecturers is Mr. Subkhan, S.E., M.A, Ph.D. from Fiscal Policy Agency, Ministry of Finance.

In his lecture, he explained about the State Budget and Fiscal Policy. He said that the state budget always affects economic development in Indonesia and also in other countries. When we set up the budget, we must consider the economic development or the economic conditions including GDP, Inflation, Interest Rates, and Economic Growth and anything else. In addition, he also explained about the components of the state budget and the process of developing and completing the state budget. And then, he said that the government together with OJK and Central Bank try to formulate good policies to support the industries to survive during the COVID-19.

He ends the presentation with the hope that we understand how the government sets up the state budget and how the government uses the budget especially to push the economy, to encourage the development of industries, to encourage the economic growth, to generate income and employment, and others
