A total of 291 Prospective Graduates of FEB UMY Participated in the debriefing

Monday (05/06/2023) the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (FEB UMY) held a debriefing for prospective graduates period IV of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This event was held at 09.00 WIB which took place at the KH. Ibrahim E6 Floor 5.

The debriefing of prospective graduates was opened immediately with a warm welcome from the Deputy Dean for Academic, Student Affairs and AIK, Ms. Diah Setyawati Dewanti, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D. He said that the end of this lecture was the first step in living the real process of life.

For this first debriefing session, FEB UMY was proud to invite a psychologist as a resource, namely Mrs. Widiasih Diana Ratri, S.Psi., M.Psi. He conveyed some very interesting material related to what skills students must prepare when they are about to enter the world of work. Starting from how to make the right Curriculum Vitae to the interview stage with the company.

In the second session, followed by material delivered directly by Fatimah Qusnul Maryam. He is one of the UMY graduate students in 2018. Until now, he has gone through his career as a young entrepreneur, namely as the founder of the Thrifting (Ody. Sub) and Clothing Line (By. Ody) businesses.

In this material, he conveyed several things related to tips and tricks for starting the first steps in building a business. In addition, he also shared his experience when he ran his business and suffered losses of hundreds of millions. According to him, sufficient capital is an important component, but not the main point in starting a business.

“Wherever you will continue the education process, we hope that the good name of your address must be maintained,” Ms. Diah Setyawati Dewanti advised all FEB UMY students. (AF)
