In order to open up opportunities for collaboration, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY) made a visit to the Indonesian Economic and Industrial Trade Office (IETO) in Taipei.

Has the role of representing, protecting, and providing information on opportunities in the fields of investment, trade, industry, tourism, and transportation in line with programs for students and lecturers of FEB UMY.

“Many activities are in line with programs for students and lecturers of FEB UMY. Research, service, education and Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan programs can be integrated in several IETO programs and activities.” Said Diah Setyawati Dewanti, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D.

As a follow-up form, the visit will be prepared for the signing of an MOU with UMY and MOA with FEB for lecturer activities including research and service to the Indonesian diaspora in Taiwan as well as student education activities ranging from teaching practitioners, internships, to field work lectures (KKL).

The hope of this visit is that it can improve the internationalization program for the academic community and increase lecturers’ chess dharma activities, therefore the results of this collaboration can be utilized as well as possible by the parties.
