International Program for Islamic Economics and Finance (IPIEF) not only encourages lecturers to bring in foreign lecturers but also encourages lecturers to be able to teach abroad. The Outbound Lecture series program is an interesting program from IPIEF because the lecturers have a great opportunity to have international experience. The emergence of this activity is the result of IPIEF’s collaboration with other Universities.

This semester, Dr. Dimas Bagus Wiranatakusuma became the first lecture to be asked to teach on a foreign campus. He teaches online at KTO Karatay University, Turkey. He educates there about current trends and the development of the Indonesian Sukuk market. Apart from this reciprocal activity, IPIEF FEB UMY, and KTO Karatay University Turkey exchange students to get fresh college experiences. Hopefully, our collaboration will continue to be strong.
