Kulon Progo – Nyadran Agung is cultural event, kind of grateful to the nature and God who gave natural resources from the land convened by the official support of Kulon Progo Government. The Cultural Event of Nyadran Agung which be held in Kulon Progo on the 27 April 2019, witnessed as biggest cultural event with Dr. H. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG (K) as Kulon Progo Regent. This tremendous year further confirmed importance of this high-profile event in introducing the Javanese culture internationally to the guests from other countries, they came from Rusia, Holland, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Mexico, USA, China, Philippines, Iran, Egypt, Yemen, Sudan, and Uganda.

Three International students of International Program for Islamic Economics and Finance (IPIEF), Faculty of Economics and Business UMY who attended to the cultural event are Abdelrahim Husham Abdelrahim (Sudan), Waleed Adel Mohammed Sheikh (Yemen), and Tang Si (China). This cultural event built successful foundation as an international relationship for enabling the future development of Kulon Progo region by bringing together with all people around the globe and promote peace in the world for better life. Furthermore, to reap the full benefit of the region’s rapid expansion and robust development, there is a need to make further advances towards achieving global connectivity and deepening the region’s culture.
