Community Service Implementation in the Orphanage
Yogyakarta – IPIEF students held a community service program in Al Ghiffari Orphanage located in Ambarketawang, Gamping, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Sutra Yustica Sae Sudrajat, Muhammad Zaki Mubaroq, Ganjar Primambudi and Ahmad Fitra Nanda Dava Vandana, they are IPIEF students batch 2016, 2017 and 2018 who are members IPIEF community service team.
The community service program entitled Grow Your Own Veggies (GYOV) aims to comply the vegetables needs of the orphans by empowering them to cultivate vegetables using hydroponic techniques, namely the cultivation of vegetables using water media.
On March 10th, 2019 is socialization how to assemble hydroponic circuits on March 12th, 2019 it will socialized on how to seed seedlings in hydroponic circuits. With the implementation of this program, it is expected that Al-Ghiffari’s students Orphanage I will be able to comply the vegetable needs without having to buy in the market. (ug)
